It was announced today at the IAFF Legislative Conference in Washington, DC that the national collective bargaining bill- HR 413 will come to the U.S. House of Representatives floor for a vote sometime next week. A subcommittee hearing was held last week. This is good news for this long awaited legislation. When it passes the house our efforts will be on getting the senate to schedule a vote.
